Archival Board Minutes

The Syracuse City School District Board of Education announces the restructuring of the Board of Education committee structure. The new structure will now consist of two work sessions, Education and Operations and the Audit Committee. The Education Work Session will incorporate Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment and Professional Development. The Operations Work Session will include Finance, Human Resources, Facilities, Information and Technology, Transportation, Food Services and Security. The Audit Committee will function as it previously has, meeting quarterly with experts from the financial community advising the Board of Education on matters relating to finance and audit.

The previously scheduled committee meetings for Facilities, Policy, Budget and Finance and Curriculum have been cancelled and will be incorporated into the new Education and Operations Work Sessions. Future work session dates will be adopted at the Board of Education Annual Meeting on May 8, 2012 at 4:00 PM.
