Artwork from students at Fowler High School will be displayed at the Mundy Library in January.

Students at the Institute of Technology received a visit from Kelly Miyahara from the JEOPARDY! Clue Crew in early December. Kelly demonstrated Classroom Jeopardy!, an affordable electronic version of the quiz show, to the students in teacher Diana Perez’s Spanish class.
School can teach a child many things, but an education is not complete without some hands-on experience outside the classroom. A select group of students at Fowler High School are getting that experience through their work with the La Casita Afterschool Program for the Arts. The program gives them the opportunity to learn about art and to create their own masterpieces.
Students at Ed Smith created artwork for “Raindrops on the Windshield,’’ an art exhibit at The Warehouse. The students worked with Stephen Mahan, an art professor at Syracuse University who runs the Photography and Literacy (PAL) project and hosted a public viewing last week.
