District Honors Employees

The Syracuse City School District honored a number of employees at the annual District Retirement and Years of Service Ceremony at Clary Middle School.

The district recognized 160 employees who have worked for the SCSD for 25 years or more, 235 retirees and 115 employees with perfect attendance.

Approximately 150 honorees and their guests were in attendance. Stephen Swift, president of the school board, and Superintendent Sharon L. Contreras, delivered welcoming remarks and acknowledged the employees’ hard work and dedication to the Syracuse City School District, students, families and the community.
