Parents, students and staff interacted over math and science at Salem Hyde recently. More than 250 people visited the school and spent time exploring a variety of topics.
Visitors learned about measuring by baking cookies. They explored the world of fractions using a candy bar and watched out for rolling balls while discovering the concept of mass. Science experiments created by 5th and 6th graders were also on display during the event.
