Dr. King School's Black History Month Assembly

On February 1st Dr. King students “kicked off” Black History Month with an all school assembly. First Dr. Barbra introduced Presenter - John Ginty of Vision Works. He told the children about his life and how hard he worked to make his dream come true. He told the children to stay in school and listen to their teachers. Students listened to the Say Yes Gospel Choir singing, “Lift every voice and sing”. A solo by Chyla Peacock was the highlight of that selection.
