OREO
They call me an oreo because I’m not like them
I don’t act ghetto and thuggish like them
I don’t walk around with my jeans at my ankles
I show respect with please and thank you’s
I don’t rep a hood thats full of negativity
I analyze things, look for the best possibility
I don’t want to spend my life looking over my shoulder
I want to live my life, be happy, and grow older
I want to go to college and be all I can be
I want to major in English, writing poetry
I want to get a job that doesn’t involve hustling drugs
I want to be a respectable businessman, not some wanna be thug
They call me an oreo because I’m not like them
I don’t’ drink or smoke weed
I don’t go partying every weekend
I have dreams of one day getting out of the hood
I speak in ways that are sometimes misunderstood
I make sensible choices and try to avoid conflict
I have better things to do then to be a convict
I don’t have time to dream of what I can’t claim
I don’t dream of living in some rapper’s fame
They call me an oreo because I’m not like them
But I’d rather be an oreo than 6 feet under
I’d rather be an oreo that steal and plunder
I’d rather be an oreo than sit and wonder
How good my life could have been
I’d rather be an oreo than live with fears
I’d rather be an oreo than in jail for years
I’d rather be an oreo than shedding tears
Wishing I could turn back the hands of time

Your Aura
Your eyes are like the sunlight,
they sparkle and they glow.
Your lips are like two rose petals,
So soft and delicate.
Your beauty is so natural like the
ponds and streams in a hidden forest.
Your essence is like the smell of a rose,
so ripe and sweet.
Your soul is so delicate like a bird,
so free and aware,
Your hair is so long,
Your touch, so soft.
That’s my definition of love.

What If Life Had A Delete Button?
I wonder what life would be
like if you had a delete button?
Or I least had the option to do things over.
If like had a delete button
Would life be better?
Life itself is like a roller coaster.
You have ups and downs, highs and lows!
Your’re not suppose to have control
of your future.
You only have control
of the present.
And what you choose, now maps out your future.
If life had a delete button
Would you delete half your life away?
Would you delete some of the people you have met?
Would you change situations you have gone through?
Would you go back and change the outcome of something
that didn’t happen your way?
Sometimes I wonder what would
happen
if I had a choice.
I think I wouldn’t change anything.
Because if I changed something in the past
Who would I be today?
So what if life had a delete
button?
NOBODY WOULD BE THE SAME

Me
I like things simple,
like the color white,
As wise as an owl, busy as a bee,
I get you energetic, like a cup of coffee,
But I am also an active person, like the Energizer Bunny.
As reliable as a dog,
hungry as a hobo,
Laughing like a hyena, tropical like a palm tree,
I’ll hold you when you’re cold, like a warm coat,
I am no one special, I am just me.

Me
As I walked on as a
rug, as dark as black
As poisonous as a spider, as hateful as a raven
Mysterious as midnight, as dead as a wilted rose
But just like a busy city, I’m not a quite haven.
As angry as a storm,
as hurtful as a broken heart
As concealing as a mask, as needed as a heartbeat
I’m as wacky as a banana, as friendly as a closed gate
But just as lemonade I can be both sour and sweet.

She is pretty like
the trees when its fall
She is talented cause she can sing
Every body likes her cause she’s famous.
She is an actor and a

She makes posters and CD’s like there’s no tomorrow
Her singing amazes me.
Her voice is

She’s so beautiful
And nicely dressed.

And she does her best.
She never gives up
And she is always confident.

But she never stops.

Jennifer Aniston’s Life
Being Jennifer
Aniston would be fun and exciting
Getting to be rich and famous would be cool and outrageous,
Acting on the funny show “Friends”
Would be a cool surprise that never ends,
Having all that money
Would be as sweet as honey,
I wonder if anyone knows
What she would do with all those clothes,
Playing in all those movies
Would be totally groovy.
It probably rocks
To act with Courtney Cox,
I would probably die
If I could hang out with those guys,
I wonder if it made her sad
When she got divorced from Brad,
It is kind of funny
That most stars say they don’t have a lot of money,
Jennifer Aniston is very pretty
And ever so witty.

Like no one else
She is successful
In everything she does.
She is famous and

Every one knows of her
She is an actress, a dancer,
and a wonderful singer.
When she is nervous
She’s one of her songs
She has been all around
The world.
She has made all
Different types of movies
Anything from love and romance
To drama and action.
She is a plus size

And believes big women
Are beautiful.
She has lights and

Amazing and hard to

Entering the ring
When entering the
ring the crowd screams
When I come out my music plays loud,
I enter the ring I bounce on the rope
I hear a song they say “Batista,
Batista you’re the
World heavy weight champion.”
My opponent comes out
Eddie Guerreo, with a steel chair,
He gets into the ring, I look up, he
Hits me below with a low blow
He picks up a Mic.
I fall, then he tells
me to give up
I tell him no, I give him what he
Wants and needs, the
Batista bomb.
His eyes are closed
He is laying flat,
On the ground,
I pin him 1, 2, 3
I win.

She Gets on Stage
She gets on stage
She is so shy she wants to cry,
She feels like falling down
In her beautiful white gown.
They hand her the mic.
It’s like a scary hike
She starts to sing,
Then hears the audience clapping
which sounds like a loud ring.
She wishes she would
not mess up
So the people won’t laugh and look up,
She wants to do her best
So then after she can rest.
Then she starts to
dance
Cause she is feeling it in her pants,
She sings and sings and does not want to stop
Her hands are getting sweaty,
She’s scared the mic might drop.
Then the song is done
She’s so happy ‘cause she had so much fun,
Then she goes home and takes a rest
And is so happy, she did her best.

Broadway Stage
There are actors
coming in
In their regular clothes,
They go back stage,
To get ready for the show.
The stage is set,
The curtain is down,
The spotlights are off,
The actors are ready.
They walk on to me,
The music begins,
Their hearts pumping faster,
Their heads spinning like a roller coaster round and round.
The curtain opens,
The spotlights beam down,
The actors step forward,
They dance and sing
And smile with passion.
Running out of
breath,
The music stops,
The actors freeze,
They talk and walk
The music begins.
As they finish
They say goodbye,
And count to ten,
Next thing I feel,
It’s the end.

The Game
It’s the biggest game of the year.
The game is gonna be played here.
I’m gonna win the Super Bowl.
I’m gonna fulfill my life long goal.
I’m gonna score at least one touchdown.
I’m gonna make the other team frown.
There are thousands of fans.
I’m the QB who makes the plans.
I’m gonna throw the ball really far.
I’m gonna make my self a super star.
Were gonna set up an I form.
And play it though a snowstorm.
We have just won the big game.
And put that other team to shame.

Shoulder Pads
I am in a dark locker waiting for my
teammate
It is cold in here, it is raining,
today is the day we play the eagles
this is the super bowl,
Now I can hear my teammates coming
then next thing you know I look up
I see my team player Law Harrison,
next you see him put me on, yes I am free.
I said I was going to cry if he did not
come,
it feels good to be back on the field
the game had started they’ve got the ball
now Law Harrison is on the field,
the first play of the game
Law Harrison hits, so they are mad,
I am cold, it’s raining harder
I am wet, and filled with sweat.
Now it is the fourth quarter
we are down by 22,
Harrison catches the interception
it is my time I buck too and I am dizzy
but Harrison still scores the touchdown,
next thing you know there’s 30 seconds left
we are all fired up.
Law Harrison gets another interception
we are in field goal range,
next thing you know we win 28 to 6
I have to go back in that dark locker
I am in the dark again for one more year.

Abraham Lincoln
It was hard being
Abraham Lincoln
But at times it was easy.
Waking up in a nice president’s bed
Having a good breakfast without feeling queasy.
Living in the White House wasn’t that bad
Always busy, never sad.
I spent time with my wife, my children too
I was an important person, everyone knew.
I was always feeling great about myself
I had so much courage I could feel it.
I saw that people respected me
I know because I heard it.
There was one problem,
It was that some people didn’t like me.
But I didn’t care about that,
They just wished they were me, maybe?
Going to plays was my thing
Front row seat so I could hear the people sing.
A guy came up to me, pointing something in my face
I couldn’t remember the last moment,
Because my heart was pounding in a race.
My life was good, while it lasted
My life went by fast, it blasted!

If it wasn’t for my family and friends I wouldn’t have fame.
In 30 years I’ll be

A Simple Book
I have been published
I am well known
I'm Harry Potter and
The Sorcerer's Stone
I'm the oldest of the six
I've seen J.K. Rowling
Go from poor to rich
I've heard her grumble
I've watched her moan
But it was worth it
When the publishers phoned
I hold the secrets of Hogwart's School
And of Harry who had much to learn
Of wizard's rule
I tell of a year in which Harry
Made many friends
And while he was at it
Defeated Lord Voldemort once again
I got the kids who had
Never picked up a book
To open me up and take a look
From the Dursleys making
Harry live in a hole
To Dumbledore's kind and caring soul
J.K. Rowling's got the readers hooked
It's all in me.
Just a simple book.
