PTSO Teacher Mini-Grants
Each fall the PTSO asks Nottingham parents to contribute to the Teacher
Mini-grant Fund, a fund used to award teachers or teams of teachers up to $200
to support instructional initiatives.
Teachers may submit their proposals by the deadline, Friday, November 21. Applications can be left in the PTSO mailbox.

During the 2006-07 school year, Nottingham parents donated close to $2600, all
of which was awarded to teachers to fund busses for field trips, chemistry
equipment, educational videos on substance abuse for use in health class,
software, French dictionaries, and several class sets of books for English
classes.
The PTSO hopes parents will be generous again this year so that we can
continue to support teachers' innovative ideas for classroom instruction.
