September 2009
Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to Nottingham High School, a school where values are taught and lived. As a student of this school you are
expected to follow the rules that are established for the welfare of the entire
school community. Following school rules will aid all students in becoming
successful lifelong learners.
Be proud of Nottingham! Take good care of it and feel free to make suggestions
for improving it. As a student, you are expected to act and conduct yourself
in a manner conducive for learning. You will learn necessary and useful
skills for the future. If you are new, you may find some things unfamiliar at
first, but you will soon become accustomed to them.
This agenda book was designed to answer some of the questions that you
may have regarding Nottingham High School's program and expectations.
I hope you will refer to it often and will find it helpful in answering those
questions.
Whenever you have questions which the handbook does not answer,
please feel free to call the main office at 435-4380. Please leave your name and number with
the secretary. We will return your call as soon as possible.
This handbook is an important communications tool between the home and the school. We
welcome any suggestions you may have as to how we might improve this handbook in future years. We look forward to a positive partnership.
Sincerely,
Debra Mastropaolo
Principal
